About this recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 spring onions, chopped
For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Method:
- In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until lightly golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, carrots, onions, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and toss everything together.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
- Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
