About this recipe
Ingredients:
- 300g pork loin or pork shoulder, thinly shredded
- 200g Chinese chives, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
For the Marinade:
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
For the Sauce:
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Method:
- Marinate the shredded pork with soy sauce, cornstarch, white pepper, and sesame oil for 15 minutes.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated pork and stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned.
- Add the Chinese chives and stir-fry for 1ā2 minutes until just wilted.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and toss everything together.
- Cook for another minute until well coated.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
