Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs or chicken pieces
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1-inch ginger, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • ½ tsp white pepper

Method:

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper.
  2. Add the chicken and mix well. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Place the chicken on a heatproof steaming plate.
  4. Top with ginger and garlic.
  5. Steam over boiling water for 15–20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Carefully remove from the steamer.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables.
