Skip the takeout and make this delicious Chicken Lo Mein at home! 🍜🥢 Loaded with juicy chicken, colorful vegetables, and soft noodles tossed in a savory sauce, this quick and easy recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and guaranteed to satisfy your noodle cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 250g lo mein noodles or egg noodles
  • 500g boneless chicken, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

Method:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and keep ready.
  3. Heat oil in a wok or large pan and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  4. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Add carrot, bell pepper, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and prepared sauce.
  7. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
  8. Stir in the spring onions and mix well.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
